Worship

Church at Pentecost 2022.jpg

Sundays
at St. Simon's

We gather on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the building and on Zoom as one community in many places. Masks are welcome, but not required during services at this time.

Children's Church

On the second Sunday of each month, we hold a special gathering of children ages 4-4th grade, with older kids to help, looking at the foundational stories of our faith and what they call us to be and do. We gather at 9:25 am in the main level classrooms in the office wing. We’ll rejoin our families for the Eucharist.

Babies and toddlers will notice that the Soft Space has moved! It's now in front of the pulpit - away from the monitor and cords. If your little one needs more space for movement parents can take them to the nursery and participate in worship via Facebook Live!

Big Kids, grades 5-12, are moving into leadership positions in worship and in leading Kid's Community. As your family feels ready to reconnect, please join us!

Adult Teaching and Conversation Hour

We gather, both in person and online in one community to grow in our faith and draw near to each other in community. Our session begins at approximately 10:50 am, following a brief break after the Eucharist.

What to Expect

Our primary worship is on Sunday mornings, and we meet in a hyflex format joining both those of us in the building and those of us online into one experience.

If the Episcopal liturgy is new to you, we invite you to simply enjoy it, without worrying about whether you understand everything. There isn’t a wrong way to worship! During the service worshipers, both in the building and online, participate in prayers, responses and with singing.

We often have a learning opportunity for adults following the service. You can participate either in the building or online. For more information on what is happening this Sunday, please review our Sunday morning schedule.
